The mod bringing modern weapons to Sudden Strike 3. So far, the ongoing and recent conflicts in Ukraine, Syria and Yemen are recreated in the game's exciting 3D engine. No disrespect is intended to any participant in the conflicts portrayed, and everyone has a right to be portrayed fairly.

no. To my knowledge, everything that game could do was done by the developers. I originally considered modding World in Conflict instead because I liked the way helicopters were done in that game, but WIC is totally wrong about vehicle mobility/disablement, reinforcements, logistics, and fortification in a way that Sudden Strike 3 is right. Every game has strengths and weaknesses, the weakness for this one is probably helicopters. We can only call them in to do a sortie, and that's it, but it's better than nothing. It would be worse if they were just absent from the mod. There's also absolutely no air-to-air combat. Planes just can't target each other in SS3, it's impossible unless the original developers get involved and remake this game

Description

The Russian Tu-22M3 (back left unit) is a large strategic bomber, and the historically accurate type for the Azovstal map. The unit was added to make this scenario more faithful to real events.
