Israeli M270 Menatetz and M109 howitzer image - Sudden Strike 3: Modern Arms for Sudden Strike 3: Arms for Victory
The mod bringing modern weapons to Sudden Strike 3. So far, the ongoing and recent conflicts in Ukraine, Syria and Yemen are recreated in the game's exciting 3D engine. No disrespect is intended to any participant in the conflicts portrayed, and everyone has a right to be portrayed fairly.
Ensuring a complete Israeli ground arsenal: the Israeli M270 variant "Menatetz" (closest to the camera) fires two GMLRS missiles shots at a time, dealing significant destruction across the whole map.
The M109 howitzer (tailing the Menatetz in this image) is the primary self-propelled howitzer of the Israel Defense Forces. Israeli efforts to develop a homegrown self-propelled howitzer variant with the excellent Merkava tank platforms have so far been fruitless.
For gameplay purposes, the Menatetz is identical to the M270 (which itself will have improvements to the missile behaviour in the upcoming version 5 release), just as the Israeli M109 is only a new olive paint job, Hebrew voice scheme, and change of crew for the M109 howitzer.
