Submod fix standard-bearer and spear-shield unit animation bugs in DEI battle.
This submod fix standard-bearer and spear-shield unit animation bugs, it makes standard-bearer stop losing the shield, handle the emblem two-handedly when engage combat and the spear-unit stop losing shield sometimes when get killed in DEI battle. It also remove most of attack animations, kill animations and add more defense, cinematic death animations for historical and realistic accuracy that make standard-bearer fight more passively in battle. The major duty of standard-bearer (flag-bearer or torch-bearer when at night) is indicating where the position of a military unit not engaging a fight. Soldiers, warriors are typically ordered to follow and stay close to the standard bearer to maintain unit cohesion, standard-bearer just only resist when enemy reach too close.
Especially, modders of Divide et Impera team can use this submod to release new patches and updates.
Update 1: Re-compile the scripts of "rome_man_standardbearer_matched_combat_fragment.txt" and delete "rome_man_standard_bearer_fragment" to solve emble/torch floating bug.
If you combine this mod with my Cinematic kill animation overhaul mod, please delete "rome_man_spear_shield_matched_combat_fragment" section of this mod with Pack File Manager to avoid mod conflict, animation bug.
