Our new sound designer, Robin Arnott, has not just focused on sound effects, but has also ensured that Steam Racers now features fitting music, oozing with athmosphere. Working with the group Found Objects, we have create three unique musical tracks for the game, all based on classical music, and these have been integrated uniquely into the levels.
When you're in a vehicle, you might hear nothing more than the heavy steam engines working hard, but once you set food outside, prepare yourself for a musical experience like nothing seen before in a game. Inspired by symphonies from the likes of Beethoven and Brahms, the music is played by the sophisticated high-brow scientists in the Zeppelin, and will mix brutal combat and classical music in a way never seen before.
