Welcome to The Back to School Blowout. This is the event that we have been saving. I cannot tell you how many times that we have been overlooked by our lack of true art. Well for all those who have done so, take a good look over this next week as Team Storm lets loose the storm of information every day from day 1 to day 7. Now let us begin.
The Medusa class was designed as a cruiser meant to take on the battleship role if necessary. Though nothing compared to the Battle Wagon, this ship is in no means small business either. It has an assortment of lasers and ballistic weaponry, but its main weapons are its 20 missile batteries that, when combined in one salvo can easily maim or cripple its target. Besides its armament, the Medusa is a sturdy troop carrier and is able to carry a brigade of soldiers wherever it goes to provide troop support. The Medusa also has a number of bays in which is capable of providing enough aircraft for its own planet campaign.
The Neptune class is the Federations smallest ship. It is very maneuverable and is often used with Special Forces units in hopping from one hotspot o the next. The Neptune has no bays for fighters, and only carries two drop ships for landing and extracting troops.
The Neptune's best advantage is speed and being able to avoid engagement most of the time. But the Neptune has been known to stand up to a capital ship is deployed in packs. But most times, it is good for anti-fighter support at most.
Now some people might say "Well that is great, they finally got units out. I guess this will be just a renders release week." Those of you who thought that, and you know who you are, you are sadly mistaken.
Wrapping up today we are announcing our winner to our logo competition. The winner not only gets a alpha test position, and a beta test position in our mod team, oh they get to have a teaser trailer just made to show off the new logo.
