Welcome to the first public announcement of STARGATE SG-27 , a singleplayer modification for Crysis!
To start , i would like to give you a bit of a background of who we are, and what makes us different from all the other stargate mods out there.
STARGATE SG-27 is a single player modification for Crysis that aims to drop players right into the heart of intergalactic conflict, with a tactical combat based gameplay. Players will be apart of SG-27, an elite special-ops combat unit which is dispatched to deal with hostile situations on various off world locations that require the unique tactical experience of an elite military special op teams. A variety of the finest weapons from Earth’s arsenal fitting different situations, as well as a variety of alien weaponry will be available to use.
Who we are:
Many of our dev members are former members of previous stargate mods, who have banded together with many new talented cryengine2 modders to create a unique and enjoyable single player experiece. Currently there are 23 dev members that make up Whirlwind Games, the name we gave to our mod group.
Whirlwind Games is a non profit group of modders intent on expanding their creative ability whilst at the same time enriching the community with interactive art. The primary aim of whirlwind games is to create high quality stories driven by passion and creativity. Our first project, SG-27, is an interactive style of fan art, paying homage to the fantastic television show known as Stargate SG-1 as well as Stargate Atlantis. Other aims that are of great importance to Whirlwind Games include forming a close team that will stay together over multi projects, all of which are done in spare time for pure enjoyment.
Now that that's all out of the way, lets get onto showing off some of our first public media !
