0.4.1 additions
- Increased size of ISD hangar (Ai docking improved)
- Added fighters refit capability for MC80 Liberty
- Added Y-Wing A4 variant and its Longprobe scout variant.
- Improvements to the Empire economy and traffic.
- Improved impact effects and sound of medium and heavy turbolasers
- Replaced suspense music
- Numerous bugfixes and smaller improvements
Installation:
Copy and paste contents of the zipped "X4 Foundations/extensions" folder into your "X4 Foundations/extensions" folder.
Major additions:
- Added Empire as its own faction with territory, economy and faction logic. Search in Heretics End to find the gate leading to their space.
You can also encounter Imperial task force and monitoring missions outside their space.
- All Imperial ships and weapons moved to Empire faction, you will need to befriend them to get those.
-Argons now use some of rebel ships with appropriate weapons. You can encounter representative ship of Rebel Alliance with Rogue squadron on board.
- Empire gets their own engines, shields and other modules.
- Added full set of capital weapons both for empire and rebel ships, all SW ships are now limited to SW-only weapons.
- Added launchers and different classes of proton torpedoes and concussion missiles
- All ships and weapons stats and prices/material costs rebalanced
- All SW content got a description and name as per lore, no more copy of other faction equipment.
- New visual and sound effects for all weapons.
- Updated New Game starts, 2 for Empire and 2 for Rebels (in argon space for now)
-All capital ship bugs and docking fixed, Lods added for most ships,, some ships touched up.
HotFix 1:
- Fixed low speed of Nebulon frigates
- Empire stations now spawn correct security vessels belonging to empire and not argons
- Decreased range of TIE engine sounds so its less annoying
- Made +20 as requirement for capital ship licenses and ally promotion for empire, but all licenses you will need to purchase for small price (made to be compatible with existing saves)
HotFix 2
- Fixed inability to buy station modules from Empire faction representative
- Small balance tweaks here and there, for weapons, engines, missiles etc.

got problems if i want to start x4 with this mod. or anymod from mod.db or nexus mods.
Hi , scripting seems to be quite different in this game, when someone figures out how edit or make custom scripts i will make them as well.
For now sectors can only be added manually via XML, this is very complicated, but I am going to attempt at least making Bespin.

Did I encounter bugs? The sectors behind the gate of Heretics End seems so empty and their edges in the map are grey.
this should not be the case.
make sure you have Split vendetta installed.
Also, if it still does not work and you cant buy rebel ships from Argon try packed version of the mod instead: Drive.google.com
Hey shuul. I am having the same issue on my main save game, no empire faction ships at all in their sectors. I can purchase and build rebel ships fine. When loading a new game the empire sectors are populated perfectly.
P.S. this mod is already incredible! videos don't do it justice at all and I am blown away by the quality of the ships. I am very excited to follow this mod in the future!

Outstanding work, mate. More than a few of these ships are real game changers, as far as I can tell.
One question, though. The faction affinity menu says that 'Galactic Empire Admiral' is achieved at +20. I am at +26 and it is still not available. Is that a typo?
no its not, it should work on +20 and works for me
BUT you will not get those licenses for free, after you are +20 go to representative and buy them

sometimes literally... you know by the ISDs.
not really, its a mistake in mesh so will take some time to fix, hopefully for 0.5, but its more on lower priority for now
