You may also like
Best lighting mod I've used and seen. Just needs some tweaking in the settings after download to be a bit brighter. It's a little too dark otherwise. The darkness looks great in screenshots and video but is difficult to play that way.
I also recommend installing Shader Patch, and use the file d3d9.dll from this mod, or else the game won't launch. No idea why that is, just learned from trial and error.
After messing with the configurator for this mod for a month, I'm really happy with the settings I landed on. You can use it my preset here: Drive.google.com
Either replace the file in GEMFX >> Presets >> current with mine, and click "load configuration" in the GEMFX_Configurator.exe OR if you can open the file in Notepad++ or something, just copy and paste the same text from mine into it. That should work. Here's that text if you don't trust a Google Link (Totally understand that haha)
Remember to make backups in case I copied something over wrong or anything

So all I get from this mod is a black screen. The game loads fine, but when I try and enter a map? Black screen. What’s going on here.
You have to turn Anti-Aliasing off in the game settings. GEMFX does it's own Anti-Aliasing. If that doesn't work, not sure what the problem is.
I'm new in battlefront 2 modding, how do I install the mod?
I found the installation instructions (just drop all files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData") but nothing changes in the game...
