A new mod was released for Galactic Civilizations 2, which is one of the best turn based strategy games to come out lately. The MOD is called Star Trek Vs. Star Wars. It features all the major races and starships from the Star Trek series and the Star Wars movies. If you have ever wondered who would control the Galaxy with a war of Star Trek and Star Wars races then this is the mod for you. Please note: you need the Twilight Arnor expansion pack to play this mod. To install it, just unzip everything to the following directory: C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Galactic Civilizations II - Ultimate Edition\Twilight\Mods\Default

hello ive downloaded the star wars vs star trek mods from the first to latest and no matter what i do or how i run the game it either crashes or refuses to load. im stuck for ideas and not sure what to do and any help would be appreiated! I really want to play this mod! thank you any way! x |

Ok I want to help you play this mod too. First of all are you able to play the normal Gal Civ2 game without the mod installed? Did you make sure your PC has the requirements to play the game? Which would be Windows XP or Vista, Pentium 4 2200 MHz or equivelant processor, 1 GB RAM, and 128 MB direct X 9.0 compatible video card. If you do have those requirements then I would try installing everything from scratch. So first install the game, then make sure the game is updated to the current version. Then download the basic mod at: Follow the instructions and install it. Make sure that in the game itself under options you have use mod marked. Make sure that in your C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor folder you delete all your saved game files and Race config files too. Then see if that works. Hopefully it will. |
