What are guaranteed for Stage 2 is 7 game modes, two of which are exclusive to STL: The Aftermath. The game modes that will be in Stage 2 are Armada, One on One, Survival, Evolution, System Conquest and the two new game modes Infiltrate and Sabotage. More on Infiltrate and Sabotage will be announced as time goes by.
Also something that is still under consideration is an add-on pack to Stage 2 that will feature ships. The ships are being kept separate to the main Stage 2 release as ships were something I had no plans for to ever appear in STL: The Aftermath. I currently have many permissions for ships at my disposal, some of which are unique to STL: The Aftermath and some will be shared with TLG and New Gen.
There will also be more extensive Map Editor Tutorials and the inclusion of the XML and ODF tutorials too, with a possibility of a couple more tutorials bundled in with Stage 2. The tutorials have all had a major revamp and are very well presented.
Stage 2 will be a stand-alone download, it will have all of Stage 1 content included. Other features of Stage 2 will be announced in due time
