G'day Moddb community!
On this lovely winter day I have run through a game of the current build of Continuum and taken about a hundred screenshots so that I could choose the wheat amongst the chaff and display it proudly here in this week's news post!

It was a good 45 minute engagement with a Klingon and Romulan opponent, the Klingons were the first to fall as they were between myself and the Romulans. I took heavy losses when their Starbase erupted because half of my fleet was instantly vapourised when it went up! Giant fireballs are dangerous kids, don't play in them!
Because of the scarcity of resources on this map I had been actively harrying the Romulans' remote mining operations, this was the only thing that saved me at this point because it meant that the Romulans had not been able to stockpile Dilithium for a large strike when the Klingons went down.
A sneak attack on my very doorstep by some cloaked Raptors with stolen tricobalt torpedo technology hampered my build up of force and cut the fleet I was amassing there by a third. The debris left by their destruction gave my work bees something to do and I quickly brought the valulable salvage into the Outpost for reprocessing.
After I had built a couple more ships I warped across the map right to the edge of the 15km no-warping zone that surrounds all Outposts and Starbases (too dangerous to warp through at closer ranges!). With my final push and levelled up ships I was able to take out the Romulan defenders, shipyards and Outpost, leaving the three ragged survivors of the assault limping back to my shipyards for repair and recrew.

There are currently five items remaining on our to-do list, four of which could be accomplished in a single sitting. The Klingon Outpost, a close variant of Ty'Gokor, is the only large item left on the list and has an 80% to 90% completed mesh already. Herby has been pulling out all stops and with a fair share of nautical enthusiasm he has battened down the hatches and is working at full steam ahead! Expect a news post showing off Herby's new Klingon Outpost in the weeks to come!
The Klingon Outpost will be used in Deathmatch, with it's big brother the Starbase gracing the Invasion map type.

Everything is on track and on schedule, Stargazer is even organising a lovely trailer that will come out with the mod! He was the man behind the ST:HW2 v0.6 preview trailer and from what i've seen so far he has already surpassed it!
IS this gonna be accessible on DESURA some day too???
We're going to have an installer here with multiple options (Shader 1, etc) and the "deluxe" version with everything on Desura.
