Recreation of The Battle of Thermopylae of 480 B.C. focusing on the Spartans and last stand for Greece. The multiplayer will be a beast of its own mainiting the art, style, and fighting sense, but recreating the gameplay. It will be oriented towards the war as a whole instead of the single battle. Will be including updates as game design decides on more set in stone factors. (These lists will be added to as we become for sure on the gameplay) Singleplayer including: -Ten hours of gameplay -Battle formations recreating troop combat of the Spartan Phalanx -Calling on you to use group combat constantly giving you 4 Spartans at your side, and requiring you do use strategy to overcome the odds Multiplayer including: -Multiple classes and a ranking system that unlocks characters as you rank up in the Greek or Persian army -Multiple fighting modes including a lenghty campaign mode, waging the war until there is a clear victor.
Wow, wonderfull stuff! I think the new Unreal engine will produce some of the best looking mods ever! Good luck!
Wow, awesome job. Good luck on this. I'm also working on a 300 mod but for HL2. We'll see how both come out. :)
long flowing cape my friend. Cloth only does that when its crumpled on the ground... Remember gravity ;)
actually, depending on the stitching, whats on the back, and the material, the cape actually could easily look like that...
polycount? is that high rez mesh?
mmm what about game mesh render with normal maps and all that stuff?
they didn't wear body armour... in other words... no chest plate
True, But I think its best not to follow the film 100% due to copyright/Trademark infringements.
Some Soldiers did wear cheastplates also, but only a few.
looks great though :D dondt change that^^
The cape is a little to crumbled. Make less, but bigger folds. And make them only from side to side. The metal looks absolutely stunning though! Great wicked work.
nice zbrush work man
Actually im fairly sure the Spartans in real life wore chestplates and probably tunics or something like that. The armourless Spartan is more likely just Frank Millers own touch to make them stand out and make them look tougher.
