SOUND ASSAULT - HD sounds mod aimed for Assault Squad 2, but will also work with Assault Squad. Videos show the standard sounds and the new HD sounds all 5 Nations. These sounds are designed for higher than standard computer audio hardware. I use ASUS Xonar Essence STX soundcard and Sennheiser HD600 headphones which allow very high quality audio detail. My aim for this mod is to be close to the sounds of the real WW2 guns as possible. I tried to capture the real character of the gun from what I have heard from live fire videos. There will be new explosions and other new sounds. I am intending a release for this - SOUND ASSAULT - mod after I test it carefully in Assault Squad 2.

This is a battle demo of the final guns sounds for the Japanese infantry weapons.
I found all the available anti-tank and anti-personnel mines to use in this mission and laid them before the USA attacked. In the beginning you will see some US tanks running over & setting off the anti-personnel mines. I put the AP mines mostly on the left area of the fuel storage tanks. The anti-tank mines are laid at the front of the fuel storage tanks, where the USA tanks approach from.
The Japanese also use 1 captured USA .30 cal machine gun on the left, and 1 captured USA, M8 armored car using its .30 and .50 cal machine guns.
