This unofficial project ports back most of Sonic Unleashed's day levels from the Xbox 360 version into Sonic Generations on PC. It also includes any improvements that are deemed as necessary to accomodate to the better control scheme, higher resolution graphics, and a much smoother framerate.

Regarding our upcoming entry for the Hacking Contest.

Posted by on

As some of you might be aware already, the Sonic Hacking Contest 2012's deadline is July 21th. We've been preparing a demo with Dragon Road Act 1 from Sonic Unleashed(ported obviously as Act 2 in Sonic Generations). Before that date we're likely to upload the demo here, and it will include a new mini-HUB as well, as shown in the preview image.

The other good news is CPKREDIR, the tool used for loading mods into Sonic Generations, will implement Save File redirection soon enough! This means that players will be able to boot up our demo with no problems, and even start the level with the Red Rings cleared, so you can practice your own Red Ring hunts as well, even if you already completed them in the regular game. The Save File redirection will be an option, so if you want to play our level using skills and such, you should be able to.

Meanwhile, you can check out a video of the current Dragon Road Demo in the media page here.
