Somalian Crisis is a Half-Life modification based on historical events of Black Hawk Down. This modification is free software to those who already have Half-Life. What we hope to bring into the atmosphere of the Half-Life engine are realistic helicopter flights and combat with high detailed game play and maps to the gamers out there. We havn't updated the news lately on the site, and I bet you are wondering what we have been up to. We have been very busy with the mod lately, with the working on a new map by NerfSniper, and many more weapon models finished by Spydr.

The map by me (NerfSniper) will be one of the 3 maps we will be including into beta 1 of the release, with all of these particular maps taking place in Mogadishu and having different objectives for each map.

The models are of the AK47 and the CAR-15 (Redone, and fixed), which were all modeled by Spydr. We are looking for some more skinners and player modlers, if you are interested contact Xen at josh@varadox.net . Stay tuned for more updates!
