Skirmish Plus
This small mod allows you play the 3 original skirmish maps of each faction using all
multiplayer units, and with any faction as player and enemy. It was going to be included
in another mod I'm making which lets you create customizable single-player bot matches
in multiplayer maps, but I decided to realease it as a standalone mod.
Current features:
- Play as any faction in any supported map
- Fight against any enemy faction
- Use all multiplayer units
- Cold War mod support
- Supported maps: First 3 missions of each campaign (invasion)
Planned features:
- More enemy vehicle variety
- Compability with German Soldiers Mod
- Enemy airstrikes
- Support for Defense and Infiltration missions
Important:
- Initial base defenders have been removed. This is to avoid mixing units from
different factions when you are not using the default one. I'll add them later. For
now, just call a homeguard squad and send them into the MGs and AA guns.
- The default hero units have been removed. You can buy them but they will spawn
as a normal unit (for example, USA paratroopers can't be dropped in the middle of the
battlefield). Capturing the first three flags now unlocks the Hero menu, where you
can buy special units and vehicles.
- Now all reinforcements share the same rally point. You can set the rally point for all
units by clicking on the flag.
- Medics are enabled by default, but they are not included in any squad. You have to
call them as a separate unit through the Specialized Infantry menu. Medics can be
deactivated by removing the (include "allow_medic.mi") line from 0.mi in each map folder.
Installation:
-Download the mod.
-Decompress it using winrar into the mods folder.
-Double click "Configuration.bat" to change the playing factions of each map.
-Start the game, go to "options / mods", select "Skirmish Plus" and press activate.
-Go to campaign and select the mission you want to play
Known Issues:
- All units have the same skin (no desert or snow variations)
- Flags don't change when you switch factions
- Configuration utility sucks. I'll make a better one later
- Possible balancing issues

Im getting the exception error with this mod
Where you get the error? Do you have another mod active at the same time?
I get exceptions, and when I change the country out errors:
error: file is read only: resource / map / single01_usa ..........
you understand that
when I start a mission of such campaign. I get manchuria exepcion
Right click the mod folder (Skirmish plus) and untick "Read only". Apply it for all subfolders. Also run the Configuration.bat as administrator, and make sure that you applied the "Cold War patch" files.

I can not start cold war , I get all this mod mistake, I can not start any map to play

What map and which flag? Were you playing with cold war mod?
yes I'm playing with cold war mod, It's happen with all the map. After I capture half of the Flag Point, the game suddenly crash
You mean when a flag is half captured, or when you caputure the middle flag? Does it show any error? It could be a problem with the helicopters I added. I'll take a look tomorrow.
So what does this mod? Addes more units? Tanks and stuff or just infantery?And it works for assualt squad 2?

everytime i go to skirmish plus properties and uncheck the Read Only box and after clicking apply to folder and subfolders. i go through with it again but its still checked. i am an administrator. -_-
So, i play qwith cold war mod, so where i find the skirmish maps?
When ever my units come onto the battlefield the game crashes, how do i fix this? (im playing with the cold war mod btw)
