This mod aims to improve the overall audio quality of Silent Hill 3 on PC, by porting the Ps2 Audio to PC.
The project is now in Beta and the game can be played from start to finish with the PS2 Audio. This was insanely difficult and alot of sounds had to be pitch shifted for this to work perfectly. I can see how Hijinx was able to mess this up as hard as they did. It's not as simple as just converting the audio and replacing said audio.
