Shores of Victory is a realism based Half-Life total conversion modification staged in the Pacific front during World War 2. Battles are staged in non-fictional environments, meaning you can actually take part in the outcome of the war! Shores of Victory is a class based first person shooter - upon arrival in game, you may select your team - the Axis, which consists of the Imperial Japanese Army, or the Allies, which consists of the United States Marine Corps. From there, you may choose your class - Rifleman, Squad Leader, Support Infantry, Sniper, RTO, or Corpsman/Medic. Each class has it's own special abilities and benefits, providing a high grade of realism and fun. After the class is chosen, you are able to choose your actual in-game appearance from a large selection of player models. Next, you are able to select your arsenal. I am posting this with great enthusiasm and excitement. This is an official announcement. Rising Sun, another Pacific modification, and Shores of Victory, have merged together to form one highly skilled, highly efficient work force dedicated to bringing out the very best in Half-Life gaming.

Our new production bears the official label of "The Rising Sun: Shores of Victory" but the actual name is Shores of Victory. We have combined our finished material, reorganized our staff and leadership, all the while sowing the seeds for quite possibly one of the most promising third party Half-Life modifications in developement. The sites of both mods are down as Oktagone our host is having problems.
