First off I want to say we are going to use the extended
time of the MSU to gauge our new release, and will be using that time to tweak
as much as we can.
Vlosk has worked his ass off and rewrote our entire code base adding 2 new game-types
and most importly BOT SUPPORT (YAY!!).
I have been beaten down by his bots a few times so I know first hand how awesome
they are. Aside from the fact that this coder has reworked SO into something very
special we also have a few surprises too, first off being the new Detonation Camera.
The Detonation whisks you away to Cam point where you can get a good look at this
beautiful effect created by our team and tweaked to perfection.
Wraith also stepped up to the plate and delivered some very refreshing skins to
one of our old weapons, the shotgun, and one of our new weapons "The Scatterer"
, both seen below. Aga our lead animator has matched the quality of the skins
with some wicked new animations for all our weapons including the grenades with
some help from Squirt who does amazing work as well.
Also some of the new maps and reworked maps for ShatteredOasis 2.o are shown below.
Keep in mind we are adding another 5 maps to our old map list which are being
reworked for bugs and exploits, adding bot support in each of those as well. Here's
a couple shots from a few of our upcoming V2.o maps.
So keep your eyes peeled over the next couple weeks the best is yet to come! =)
