Shadow Walker is a series of short Halloween-themed maps for Half-Life 2: Episode 2. The original Shadow Walker was an entry into the HalloweenVille3 mapping challenge in October 2016, and the upcoming sequel Shadow Walker 2 is a map for the MapLabs Halloween Horror mapping challenge. Uncover the secret of an experiment gone wrong in a twisted alternate version of the Half-Life universe.
This is a pretty decent play. The first one starts a nice concept, but the second is the one that delivers on it. I think the idea is pretty cool and it really spooked me when I first played as I didn't really know what to expect, so it was a nice surprise. I would love to see a third edition that's a fair bit longer, maybe about an hour long, that features some really nice mapping with gorgeous environments and that same kind of system. Maybe give the player several different items to collect, like the second but a lot longer, so it has a metroidvania-esque gameplay style. This has a lot of potential, and I like it a lot, I just think it could be fully realized into something substantial and that would make it great.

Very interesting concept. Reminded me of SCP-106 at some point. The way shadow people travel using these black portals is very well done. Though, custom NPCs could use some custom animations instead of default hl2 citizen ones.
