Shadow Over Middle-earth (SOME in short) a mod for BFME 1. This mod requires patch 1.06 to play. Our concept is Shadow of Mordor and Hobbit, which means timeline between Lotr and Hobbit.
... but we are many.
Edited texture of BFME's Numenorean Soldier with a green fade ;)
Ghost soldier from SOW for Outcast of Udun Faction.
I can make it better, if you want. ;)
Udun faction?
Yeah :) Outcast of Udun actually, from SOW, which will include Good Heroes like Talion, Hirgon etc
Why? Is it so weird? :P
It's an uncommon faction name in a Third Age setting. Given also that these Shadow of Mordor/War games are mostly hated regarding their cannon by the fans, not sure how this name is appearing there.
Well, I will do my best. I hope you will like when it's finished. ;)
I guess it just doesn't fit with the Hobbit theme so much
In the openning of Moddb Page, writes as "Timeline between Hobbit and Lotr" and SOM series between those years. Those 60 years
"Shadow Over Middle Earth (SOME ın short) is a taking concept of a timeline between Hobbit and Lotr."
Isn't Minas Ithil falling in Shadow of Mordor? That was in a time before the Hobbit ;)
Som series lies between timeline of 60 between Lotr and Hobbit. Also, Minas İthil falls on Sow, not SOM
Is it really weird having Sow factions?
Well, it's just something new in the end. Alternatively you can treat it like the fiefdoms of Gondor, some kind of subfactions.
Well, I thought there is not any mod taking SOW as a concept, so I thought maybe if I made, can be interesting and enjoyable in release.
I like it. You're going for a very different take on Middle-earth than I would and it is very interesting to see. I'm excited to see where it goes from here. :)
Thanks Treefoz! :)
