ROPE mod for Half-Life 2

ROPE is an easy access, pick up and play type of game in 2,5D, where all graphics are in real 3D while all the gameplay is strictly 2D platform/puzzle game. This game blends the freedom of a grappling hook and the possibilities of real-time physics together into an awesome looking and fun puzzle adventure that will have the player come back again and again to find those extra treasures. While offering a pick up and play experience that allows short gaming sessions to be really fun: At no cost this game will provide the player with a great single-player experience, putting the player in a state of flow as he fires the hook mid-air, swinging along the level and thinking about how solve puzzles and challenges. The gameplay is set in 2D but the environment and all objects are rendered using real 3D.
