The radio's will be used for civilians, emergency forces and all police branches. The reason for us enabling ACRE is to engage realistic radio communications so people don't have the ability to use global and side chat through txt to communicate with each other player in-game. Training for the use of radios for civilians will be done by RRC members that have radio training. If you already know how to use ACRE from playing ACE then this training will not be required.
You will need to have a license to use long range and short range radios which can be acquired at the DMV.
ESU and Police will be using very specific channels just like most communities that use ACRE do.
To call the police or emergency services you will need to use your cell phone provided in-game to every player when they log-in to the server.
So in the end before you can join our server when we release our updated server, you will need to have our updated content which the links for download will be updated at a later date.
We are planning on release close to 2-1-2014 to 2-15-2014!
