Rise of Nationality is a mod created to show you guys the conflict in Afghanistan between the Soviets and the Afghans, the conflict in Chechnya between the Russians and the Chechens and the conflict in the Balkan in the Yugoslav State and maybe educate you guys in what was going on there.. But also a new addition is the current wars in the middle east, like the Syrian Civil War, Yemeni Civil War, Libyan Civil War, Iraqi Civil War and some in Africa. The thing we want this mod to be focused on is realism and historical events. We researched our intel which we are using by reading loads of stories and articles of the war written by both sides. Also, we will not tolerate any political opinion posted on our forums or mods because this will be punished by a straight ban.

Description

The BMP-1 IFV was introduced in service in 1969 and marked a whole new era of infantry transport whilste infantry carriers were mostly open top and were Halftracks (like the M-3 and SDkFz-250/1 and 251/1) or wheeled (BTR-152) or fully tracked vehicles like the M-113 but the BMP was diffrent it boasted great mobility,a 73mm cannon capeable of firing HE rounds aswell as Amor Piercing and an additional ATGM, was mass producable, was conceald so the infantrymen were protected from small arms(up to 50.cal) and fragments aswell as firigng ports to fire out of the vehicle whilste driving and amphibious capabilitys which were an important factor in a possible European theatre of war. What was so scary about the BMP is that it could not only cross rivers fast but was mass produceable meaning that NATO commanders in the 70s would have faced thousands of these "mini-tanks" that could all carry a full squad whilste at the same time haveing no equal vehicle except the M-113 which was heavily inferior to the BMP. Although the BMP has a few errors like a bad placement of crewmen (commander sits seperate of gunner AND driver),fuel tanks were in the doors and not well amored.the BMP-1 boasted a few versions with the latest one being the "P" varian with a FAGOT ATGM and smoke grenade launchers. Many countries till this day field the BMP-1 and it saw a lot of use in the reecent conflicts all around the world
