Bolero is our haven at sea. She's our floating fortress among the ice, and I will see her interests defended.

Let's get the ball rolling, for many years I have been using Valves Hammer Editor and playing their fantastic games. I've always loved the way they embraced the modding abilities of the communities that helped drive their projects and although I have created many a map over the years, I have never built a mod, never built a flowing world that attempts to tell a story or engage the player in new and interesting ways. Well today I unveil my first mod. Reversion.

I've always loved the way they embraced the modding abilities of the communities that helped drive their projects and although I have created many a map over the years, I have never built a mod, never built a flowing world that attempts to tell a story or engage the player in new and interesting ways. Well today I unveil my first mod. Reversion.

Reversion is the product of the two ideas of nature and contrast. I wanted to create a world where two objects, events or colliding themes could regularly and successfully mesh together in an experience that creates both a sense of wonder and intrigue. After all, Reversion is set in the Half-Life 2 universe and it's well understood that the planet has been ravaged to a point where such environments are impossible. A distinctive lack of Combine control (although heavy presence) will play a large role in the story behind reversion. Time will tell as the mod develops.

I would like to thank oskutin for the absolutely beautiful foliage models and textures that will feature heavily in the mod and also you, should you choose to track the mod or comment. Your ideas will help shape the mod and I'm completely open to feedback. Stay tuned for news on development and media drops in the near future!

Thanks!
