Planning on moving over some of my Requiem mod from the original Legacy of the Duelist over to Link Evolution.
Description
This mod changes all 1012 cards that had their images censored outside of Japan and gives them their original art back. Cards included are Harpy Ladies, Graceful Charity, Dark Magician Girl, Call of the Haunted and many more.

Don't think that's possibly sadly, can only edit what is already there and not change the actual effects of cards either.
Can you add alternate art such as original Dark Magician?
I could possibly do that, just some people want the original art, and some want the new one, and sadly the game lets you have only 1 option and can't switch in game. I posted my script to unpack the game's files as well and it's pretty straight forward and easy to change the artwork if you wanted to try it as well.

I know it really comes to personal taste, but recent polls held by fans did in fact show that the "Tablet" artworks of DM and BEWD are the most disliked by a good margin.
So basically, whatever artwork you'll choose will be a better option than what we have.
BTW, the same applies to REBD.

i cant even unpack the yugi extract file, it open up with bunch of text, doesnt really unpack at all
You mean for the unpacking tool, or the rar file for this mod?
For the tool, are you using Python 3.8? And which version of it do you have, 32 or 64 bit? Need a bit more info in order to tell what is wrong.
i was trying to download 64 but it wasnt available, the only one was able to download was 3.8.2, and it was the actuall script i meant, double klick it doesnt unpack it.
Without anything selected, and in the folder with only the dat and toc file and both scripts, hold Shift and Right Click and on the options there should be a "Open Command Window", do that (or open cmd by searching it), then drag the Extract script over to that window and press Enter. That should start it and if you get an error there, that should help tell what is wrong.
okey i was able to make it work, and i did everything, renamed test to YGO_2020 and copied it over to yugioh exe folder, but the game crashes on the first startup screen.
Are you sure its repacking the whole file? The dat file it creates should be about 1.5gb in size. If it's smaller or didn't repack the entire thing, you may just be getting some kinda memory error on the repack when it tries to repack all the cards, which you can fix by editing the script to not pack them in, and then repack them in separately later to try to avoid the memory error like I mentioned here-

Is there something wrong with the JP mod? It doesn't work on all cards, as its description claims.
Polymerization with JP mod is the same, plain old artwork. Polymerization without JP mod but with Japanese language active, is different. And something tells me this might not be the only one card that "slipped".
Is there a fool-proof way, to activate the uncensored artowork for ALL cards that apply? Without having to go through gibberish, unintelligible text?
Not sure what you mean about it being different when JP is active or something being slipped, they both have the same image in both files when you unpack the original files. This only changes the 1012 cards that are changed, as some cards weren't using uncensored ones in the JP version.The mod does not have alternate artwork, just using what was already there in the JP images, and the game only had 1 version of Polymerization, so wasn't edited because it was one that didn't change between languages.

I don't think it's possible honestly, since every card uses the same frame for each type of card (monster, trap, spell, pendulum, etc), so there's only 1 frame for each card type, then it just sticks the actual art (which is stored separately in 10k+ images with just the card art only) inside the frame itself. If they had the frames and images stored together, it would be easier to do that.

It depends on what you mean. Using the scripts I uploaded here and the guide I wrote on Github, you can unpack the files and change the art of any card to whatever you want.

Hi, I've a question, with this mod you've replaced EVERY cards with their original art right? But in the game I've just found "last day of witch" censored...
Ah, I'm using this mod plus the Requiem 2.0 maybe is it a problem?
When you switch languages to something outside of Japanese, the game 'censors' 1012 cards, those images are all in the files in a different folder, so I just swapped those out and replaced them so they would use the original versions. There was a few of them I did keep (like 5-10 at most) mostly because of the English text on the cards (like Last Will or Shield and Sword) and others that had drastically different art (like the Taunt card), so honestly not sure if that card you mentioned was one I swapped, but yeah it might have been one of the ones I switched to keep the alt version.
