is it possible to find red book, crank and battery in the Guardhouse or do you always have to go back to the mansion after guard house?

The hex crank will be always in the cave.
The battery can be between guardhouse and mansion 2.
Same with the doom red book.

I've made a simple item tracker for RE1 Classic Rando(for use with emotracker). Just made it for myself, but figured maybe it was worth mentioning! Not really sure where I should put it though, since there's not like a main discord for this game.

I found a way to (accidentally) remove the shotgun from my playthrough. Entered shotgun room with both the broken shotgun and shotgun in my possession, picked up the shotgun on the wall which was actually just ammo, went to put broken shotgun on the wall but "You cannot use this here", pressed A on the wall and got the prompt for "Do you want to place the shotgun?", therefore I had no choice but to place the shotgun and not the broken shotgun. Did so, went to pick it back up and just got some ammo again which was the item that replaced it, now the shotgun is gone. Now it lets me use the broken shotgun on the wall to get out alive. I essentially traded my shotgun for two lots of shotgun ammo lol.

Anyway, brilliant work. I love RE randomizers and this is great.

*Edited my comment about a possible hard mode since I now see that it's already in there :)

Two suggestions:

1) Locks randomizer. The REmake rando has this and to me it's one of the best ways to make every playthrough feel fresh.

2) A Hard mode without the Tyrant overkill. It's cool and all but just now I got knocked out of bounds (I was floating in mid air) and then the game crashed because of two Tyrants at the top of the stairs above the 1F Storeroom.
I think just having fewer health and ammo drops and a higher probability of tougher enemies like Hunters appearing more frequently would be great. Maybe also the player can take less damage before death.

Thanks for the suggestions. Eventually I'll come back to this rando and do a proper hard mode.
The next update will also fix the out of bounds.
I also want to do the door randomizer for one of the classic games. Still not sure which one to pick, maybe RE1 or RE3.

Disable the Barry brutal night option and create a new seed. This will be disabled for future versions.

The blue gem was in Forest room, replacing the grenade launcher.
The other 2 items were replacing red herbs outside the Mansion (room with 7 herbs)

problem found : HD "Director's Cut backgrounds" mod made some items can't be randomized.

Rename folder [bio1dc] to other name , problem solved.

I start to play again , use debug jump to room 214 (forest room) , it is grenade launcher , not blue gem. jump to room 300 (first house out) all 7 herbs are herbs , nothing changed.
