Defeat the evil Monarch operatives with cool weapons and awesome time-manipulation powers thanks to this mod for Max Payne 2 inspired by Quantum Break.
Mipmaps exists for a reason, you don't get "actual textures quality" by removing them, you just get texture aliasing and shimmering problems.
Google these things if you wanna know what I'm talking about.
I just say about engine problem, that it don't use actual texture res with mip maps, if texture biger than 1024x1024.
Just lock at this. with mip-maps; Media.moddb.com
And without mip-maps: Media.moddb.com
Just look at this my image you commented, textures are bigger than 1024x1024 and looks gorgeous, far better than your screenshots, so you have done something wrong on your side I guess.
Also, as I said, you will get texture shimmering and aliasing without mipmaps as soon as the texture isn't right in your face, it's not something that you really have to look for, it's quite obvious on everything that lacks mipmaps... What you suggested is simply not worth it the slightest.
Again, please Google these things if you wanna know what I'm talking about.
That's some high quality ****, and this runs well in MP2?
Flawlessly, the MP2 engine easily manages such huge polycounts and textures, it's quite impressive for a 13 years old engine.
I must say, that's amazing! I feel so bad for underestimating MP2's engine now.
Do you remove mipmaps, to use actual textures quality?
