OK, I'll keep this one short and sweet.
GZDoom 4.9.x is yet another trash update which breaks more than it fixes, and I still haven't finished writing up all the monster blurbs.
What do those mean for ZX?
-GZDoom 4.9.x is unsupported-- either use any other 4.x-branch release, the last version of LZDoom or the latest version of GZDoom (currently 4.10 as of this writing). And no, before a certain user complains, the mod CANNOT support other versions or engines. RTFM.
-v9.0 will drop without the monster writeups. I'm basically gonna have to drum up the creative muse to write those up, and that's easier said than done. When I DO finish them, I'll drop v9.0.1 with them added, as well as any hotfixes that 9.0 needs post-release.
Sorry, folks. Depression's kicking my ass like usual and I can't drum up the muse to work on things like I'd want. 9.0 is quite a major update, even without the monster writeups, as it fully integrates the weapon wheel and radically reworks the mod's file structure to cut file size by north of 30MB and majorly increases the quality of the mod's sound assets overall. At the moment, it needs third-party testing, and then it'll drop.
Yeah, I seen some other known mods get broken from the 4.9 update (and 4.10) like the DRLAX addon, Painslayer, and some other mod I still cannot remember. But hey, keep going at it and you will get it done eventually.
