Project Timeless is a 3D-Shooter, which is conceived for the multi-player mode exclusively. It takes place in the year 2047. Two teams fight against each other: The United Defense Forces (a global military organization) and the 'Hammer of Retribution' (a high developed generation of cyborgs). The player has the opportunity to join one of those fractions. The game takes place in different locations, sometimes the missions are part of a small campaign that features different mission-targets that have to be fulfilled by the teams. Each soldier arranges himself at the beginning an individual equipment from different components. Each of these components/weapons has tactical pro's and con's whereby a complex play happening is developed. By killing opponents or fulfilling mission goals the individual players receive points. We think there is still a big community out there, that is interested in half-life 1 mods, as long as good gameplay and fun are given. So we are preparing a new release, based on a slightly modified version of the old beta 2.0, right now. This version will be probably known as Beta 2.1. - Stay tuned.

Why playing PT in times of HL2 and CS Source? (features)

The experience of gameplay in PT is something special and it's something different.
It's fast, it's tactical, it's fun.

[+] PT drives the Half-Life 1 engine to its' limits (large outdoor areas, particle effects, high quality models)

[+] complex and tactical maps with varied gameplay

[+] campaign systems (small campaigns with multiple missions and areas in one map)

[+] a huge variety of weapons and equipment to choose from (see models section for a complete list)

[+] thrilling gameplay by using the stealth generator (like in Alien vs Predator) or the movement sensor

[+] intelligent ranking and score system (players receive score for fullfilling mission-targets, ranking is displayed on the player model)

[+] the campaign system offers mappers large possibilities in creating and designing their maps. The choice and combination of mission-targets is hardly restricted. You can implement a hardly limited variety of gameplay styles.
