Isolation is a Portal 2 mod set in an alternative universe, In Portal 2: Isolation you will take control of Mark, a kidnapped astronaut that was on a mission that brought back moon rocks that were to be used for Conversion Gel. After extensive testing in the lower labs of Aperture the rocks were found to be some kind of eggs, 3 months later one of the eggs hatched. 3 days after that the labs were locked down, all remaining personnel involved were put in cryostorage. Now you wake up [REDACTED] years later.
Last month was busy for us, as we have been working very hard at getting chapter one playable and we still have a ways to go but you can see what we have been working on.
Side note, for most of the first chapter we have been focusing on functionally, and not as much on the good looks of the maps.
This is the puzzle that will be presented to players right after the intro movie and wake up, it will introduce players to some of the new concepts and needed info for the next chamber. This is the only chamber that will have a tutorial. More on that later.
This is the entrance to the mainframe of [unnamed]. (Legit, we have not named her yet)
This is shiny.
This is a concept for a corridor.
Concept wakeup room One (The one that will be used)
Concept wakeup room Two
Concept 1980s work station(We know it's dark, its meant to be like that, ambiance. And you have a flashlight.)
