I have managed to finish the major warring powers' basic order of battle in PDS V11 Beta 3.

You can be sure that it will remind you of popular science fiction novels in terms of fluid maneuverability and weapons coordination at high relative velocities in a seemingly weightless setting.

New ship classes include:

Hiigaran Majiirian heavy battleship (BBH) armed with strategic bombardment arrays. A battlecruiser without waste of space on fighter carrying capability.
Vaygr 'Reina de los Malchaidos' / Queen of the Damned scout battlecruiesr (BCR) which flies like something from the Honor Harrington universe.
Vaygr Chevalier Interceptor Frigate, configured as a long range in-system fighter craft, with unsurpassed acceleration and armed with 4 attack drones.

Next in line is a full V11 manual, followed by development of custom scenarios and yes, a new scripted campaign. Oh, and I cleaned up the website's downloads section. Got to do housekeeping for the forums too. All those experimental PDS releases have now been implemented, feature wise, into V11.

Harpoon in space can't ever be accomplished in the Homeworld 2 engine... but V11 is close.
