Pillars Inc. proudly presents the first ingame shots of Pillars for Doom III.
We are using a combination of high contrasting black & white graphics and hand drawn pencil textures for the first chapter of the game in order to create a unique style. Important objects such as weapons, enemies and some props are hand drawn. Check the second page of our gallery for some nice renderings of hand drawn texture objects.

Wow. I really dig the style you're going for here. As long as the HUD gets modified (personally think there shouldn't be one), this'll be fantastic.

I think its a brilliant decision to keep it black and white. It already showed in the first, untextured renders that this game gains from using only contrast. I have been waiting for updates on your mod and it looks very nice already - lacking some details in the textures only.
I like the pencil drawn textures, but they could be drawn in a way to amplify the objects shape. To draw them a little darker towards corners would do wonders, I think.
