That was very very good guys, thank you! Both Necrologue and Twilight were well done, albeit they had some shortcomings storywise and had some linguistic issues - but I felt this one had none of it. The story was well done, I could hear Red in my mind every time I read anything, I liked the whole "eat a rat to gain health" system. I actually felt like I was playing him. No linguistic errors either, well done - I'm not being sarcastic here, English can be a hard language.

I didn't get stuck anywhere and the monster encounters weren't too many or too little. I managed them just fine. The only single critique I'd have for this is Philip in the beginning - I feel like it would be better if instead of spoken out loud his introduction would be only text. There's nothing wrong with the voice actor per se, but it's not Philip's voice from the original Penumbra so I felt it would have been better if it was text only.

Anyway, very well done! As a huge Penumbra fan 10/10 :) Penumbra with Soma graphics is awesome. I eagerly await Chapter 2! Much love!

We continue to work on the second chapter. We've updated all the models and animations for the infected. Besides updating the old models and animations, new variations of the infected enemy with new animations will be added.

Hello guys, I just wanted to say this.
As I just finished prisoner of the fate chapter 1.
I hope I will be alive to play chapter 2, As the first chapter took many years to be release.
The game hit me hard before even playing it. As I always wonder about Red' ( Tom) Side of the story, it was a mystery.
The puzzles is this game, We're something that I could enjoy easy enough to figure em' out.
The environment it was so nostalgic, Felt like I have been there' once, Although It's different. The game graphics hopes it never changes It's just perfection. And the Soma Engine allows smooth performance.
Texture' lights and shadows sweet designed working hand by hand with the Sounds.
And here I am,
The reason that' made me write this,
Scripts/Interactions.
The Chases in this game the environment when something happen, How the little this are there to scare U at the right time. It put a smile on my face.
As seeing the Character interacting with environment Seeing the Red' hands/interactions. was just fab

I don't know if you guys read these comments, but in case you do, I just wanted say that you guys are AWESOME! I've just recently played through all your mods (Necrologue, Twilight of the Archaic, and now this one) and I just wanted to tell you guys that I had an absolute blast! The quality of your trilogy of mods is on par with (if not better than) the original trilogy of official games. You captured the aesthetic and atmosphere of the originals perfectly, while also adding your own unique touch in terms of gameplay, story, and scares. It's hard for me to even consider these mods considering how long they are and the amount effort/custom content that was put into them; they're practically standalone games! If ever y'all decide to accept donations, let me know! I'd pay good money to help you guys continue your videogame-making passion! Keep up the great work!

Am I missing something? I am well over halfway through the game on a one level floor that requires burning a barrel of flammables to trigger the fire suppression and open the locked room in order to advance. I can light the barrel but cannot trigger the alarm, no matter where I position the burning barrel. Anybody?

You need to turn on fire alarm on the computer before
