Paradise Lost is a total conversion for Command and Conquer: Generals Zero Hour. It is based loosely off the epic poem by John Milton. In it, Milton describes a war between heaven and hell for control over mankind. My aim is to bring these events to the world of RTS gaming. However, I have added a twist. My story takes place in an unknown future on a planet called Eden. As of now only multiplayer/skirmish is being implemented with a possible campaign later in development.
The gameplay will be altered from the stock Generals style. You must use souls to summon units into battle but you must also maintain an acceptable level of Faith by constructuing Altars. If your Faith becomes insufficient, your units will not respond to your commands. There is no resource gathering. Altars will periodically convert souls for you to use and you also recieve the soul of any enemy unit that you destroy during combat.
