A toolkit for creating levels for PAC-MAN 3D with WDC
PAC-MAN WDC TOOLKIT
To set this up, first download Wolfenstein Data Compiler (WDC) and install
next, open pac_maps.wdc. Go to File - Project Information. Point the base data folder to the folder where you extracted
the .PAC files included with this kit. Make sure the Map Data files point to PacMan.wmc. Planes should be automatically
set to 4, but you can double check this in Maximum Values. Point the output folder to wherever you want to save your
modified .PAC files (necessary to save your maps in your project.)
To export your maps for use with LZWolf, go to File - Export To Wad/PK3/PK7. Point the Lump Name File to wl1map.txt
(included with this toolkit). Check the box of the level you wish to export and select Export. Save as MAPXX.wad and put in
the "Maps" folder of your mod PK3. Make sure when making your MAPINFO definition you reference the master XLAT with
the command "translator = "xlat\custom.txt". Alternatively, you can also make your own XLAT to reference if you wish to make
custom DECORATE actors or new triggers.
