Hello everybody! Welcome to the 7th media release from Over-Run! After quite a while of being quiet, we now have some media to show you. Sadly, none of this is what I told you it would be, as I said we would have ingame images with the HUD, but we deceided to have nothing displaying onscreen. No crosshair, HUD, ammo display, timer or anything. This will provide total immersion. Which most horrer games need. But for showing your life instead, will be fancy shaders onscreen. For example, when you are nearly dead the screen will be very red, And if you are infected, we will simulate dizzyness onscreen by making things blurry until eventually the charecter dies and turns into a zombie. We are doing great animating players with our new player animater Dennis. Doing a great job. We have a few maps under construction, for example we are working on a mall, a city and a map based on a bridge. Also, we are still looking for good player modelers. We are currently animating players and weapons and getting them ingame, just doing normal things. Progress is slowly getting there and we hope to release within a few months. We hope you enjoy this release and we hope to see you soon with a less long absense gap from before. Stay tuned, as Baza and JoeX111 are doing the ingame radio, and we will also have a feature to allow players to put there own music in a folder and listen to it ingame. Please make sure to visit these places.
Also, we are taking up people who would like to do anything
for the ingame radio, if you want to do funny adverts or
something feel free to contact us on our forum.

Thank you :D
Erm, if you put it ingame, we have normal maps and there will be actual lighting so yes i would look better.
Thanks for the comments and the positive critisism.
We will try fix the model up :)
The character is actualy good looking, but there are a few glaring problems. He doesn't apear to have a forehead, which makes him look ape-ish: that crease above his eyebrows is too defined, it would look good without it. His eyes are too far apart and of a strange shape and angle: the left one looks almost like it's on a down-sloping part of the skull. The nose is too heavily shaded on the sides. It's already big, that makes it look wierd. The nostrils should be a lighter skin coloer, shading in. Humans have some bone and skin right behind there, not so much of a gaping cavern.
The stubble, hair, and mouth look realy good and natural. :D
Eww, not so keen on your character models/skins.
Trust me, they look better in game with the lighting.
the color/normalmap on your sandtexture looks like flat brown snow...in other words:
awfull...please use normals correctly
All right sorry to dissapoint you all.
Looks fine, the player model does need some work , though. Anatomically, he's not convincing me
Indeed thats what most people have complained about this release.
We will make sure to sort it out.
Looking good to me!
Thanks alot.
The character is fine. Sorry to say but the zombie skin is really bad :( I want to give you some constructive critisism. First of all make some gashes on him. Make his mouth bloody, cloths stained. Make his eyes have faded pupils showing NO expression. The character is awsome! Except the zombie skin is really in need of some surgery ;)
Yeah all right.
Well it looks better ingame with the lights and normal maps :)
I dout if it looks really bad on the render it will look good in game.
Well, keep up the good work, this mod is looking great.
Also give him some muscle ;)
Looks good! Keep it up.
Thank you :D
Looks very good! :)
