The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

Some guys started a stupid argument about how this model was "obviously" stolen.
Looks good, except I don't think a biped should or would be hooved.
It either needs an ankel or a rear facing toe. But who says an alien from another dimension has to be like anything I've seen befor!
if we redesign it, someone complains. if we don't, someone complains too. so i'll just leave it the way it is, plus the bullsquid is not our concept.

Looks nice :) I have one suggestion for improvement and thats that the spikes on its 'elbows' look a bit thin compared to the muscular legs they're part of.

The eye texture actually needs to look like an eye in my opinion. Right now, it looks a bit like a tumor.

Sorry, I mean : You have changed the appearance of the Bullsquid. How much it takes time to change this appearance? how many hours to modify the texture from the ancient model to this one?
i made a completely new model dude. from scratch (zspheres). it took me about 4 hours to finish it + the texture.
maybe a bit brighter, besides that i like it and would want one as a pet

Awesomeness, I love how it looks a lot the like the HL1 Bullsquid, It's not extremely different like a lot of redone Bullsquids are.
Looks way better than in the demo.
Great job MenteR! This one reminds me much more of the half-life 1 version, plus it has a menacing feel to it which was somewhat lost on the chubbier ones in my opinion.
The downward spike at the end of the tail looks a bit strange to me, but I have the feeling that it could just be the pose and angle of the image that does that. It would be interesting to see it animated.

tentacles almost look too stiff, eye should stand out more and he needs back claws on his feet.
overall pretty nice.
i notice all the little details of the bullsquid because i agonized for months trying to get the hl2 beta squid properly working in hl1, so i know every last spot on their bodies very well haha

there is nothing to complain about the textures or polys, it's just this bullsuid's feet are a bit.. imbalanced
it needs 1 more toe for each foot?
and how about adding abit more squid-ish feeling to it's tentacles?

Damn, this is one good bullsquid.
Looks a bit to clean, and the black things on it aren't so good, needs some more work, but that's my opinion.
The textures could be a bit better, better quality of them... But anyway I won't be noticing any difference when Ill be blasting them away with a handy shotgun :D
