City-17.net has announced the winners to their Pre-Release Mod Awards. Op: CO-IN was nominated in two categories: 'Most Likely to Succeed' and 'Most Anticipated Multiplayer.'
We ended up winning the Most Anticipated Multiplayer Mod for Half-Life 2!
Here is why:
This one was closer than the time you almost got caught stealing woman's clothing. Between Operation CO-IN, The Last Great War, and Cold War Melting Point, it's tough to even think where to start seperating different points. In any case, Operation CO-IN came out on top this time. A big reason was that they've chosen modern combat, yet its not using the famed Counter-Strike style. With different armaments, and a relatively untouched opposing force as a team, they've sidestepped the standard. I forsee them being the biggest MOD upon release.
