As I am readying everything for a gameplay video, I thought I'd give you guys a video of the menu battle. My computer is currently 5 years old and not optimal for recording at all, hence the lag. Lag doesn't actually occur a lot in the real game because of the pop cap, but as it's a menu battle...well, you want to be looking at a big battle.
New effects like explosions, hit particles, lasers, missles, torpedoes and engine glows all redone by me for a better visual experience, though I still have to redo some of the old Petro explosions as you can see on the fighters. It'd be a shame if you didn't watch this in 1080P...

Everything is just perfect. Lasers, explosions, models, textures, even the skybox/nebulae or however you call it is perfect, not too dark not too light it's like i'm watching a movie, just bloody perfect.
If only you could find a team to do a ground part :(
Yeah, that would be mindblowing! I miss the good old walker model Geroenimo posted long time ago. Such units on the battlefield and the ground part would be an epic experience.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to, but I'd have to do it from the ground up, there are no models I can use anywhere. Some ported ones ofcourse but I don't want to use those as they're...well...ported.
yeah I understand, kinda. I wasn't under the impression they had many different vehicles back than, (been a long time since I play any of the KOTOR's) and it was mostly infantry?
