Aim of the Olbrück Project is to create a medieval themed Minecraft RPG centered around castle Olbrück in the south-west of Germany. It takes place in the 13th Century and tries to recreate the regions of the Brohl- and Vinxt Valley. Our map covers an area of 6.5 x 6.5 km of this region which we transferred to a Minecraft Map Size of approximately 1100 x 1100 blocks. This map includes 7 villages, 8 farms, 1 city, 1 castle and a small monastery. But there are many more interesting places for the player to discover. We intend to fill this detailed world with NPC's and Quests, currently based on CustomNPC's, to bring a medieval world back to life and tell a story of adventure, war and mystery.
