This is a complete remake of my Odanan’s Quake mod from the last century, in celebration of the 20 years of Quake. The objective is to update Quake for the modern players. Monsters are smarter and more unpredictable; weapons were improved with more flavor and balance, but without losing their identity. This mod is compatible with any custom map made for vanilla Quake.

Here I will talk about the weapons in the mod. Except for the Plasma Gun, you won't find any new weapons - even so, all weapons in the mod are worthy and satisfactory. "Impulse 9" was replaced with "Impulse 252", in case you want to test the weapons.

1- Ax: additional 1-10 random damage, 30% chance of killing zombies in one blow.

2- Shotgun: higher damage, lower rate of fire, new sound. Sounds good, feels good.

3- Double-Barreled Shotgun: higher damage, lower rate of fire, new sound. A very close shot can gib zombies.

4- Nailgun: slightly higher damage, higher rate of fire.

5- Super Nailgun: higher speed, higher damage. Can pass through enemies.

6- Grenade Launcher: slower rate of fire. Grenades can be detonated with right mouse button.

7- Rocket Launcher: slower rate of fire, accelerates while flying. Rockets can be loaded and fire together (up to 3 rockets).

8- Lightning Gun: less damage, but consumes half the ammo.

9- Plasma Gun: very powerful. Eats cells quickly. Small chance to appear in the place of the Pentagram of Protection.
