What is with this mod video?
a guy explaining how complex his 4x4 room made in 30 minutes on hammer is, not to mention it is only made of 3-4 textures and 2 props. Lighting not included.

I'll track it, also, the story is okay, I've yet seen no mod in which you play a child, interesting.

the mod isn't promising to me. tbh, the whole concept is more of a sims game. not portal, or even FPS.
For God's sake all of you do be quiet. I've read through all of this, and as far as I'm concerned, both of you groups are taking this too far.
9deadbabies, whether you want to admit it or not, you guys both need some more experience in mapping, modeling, & designing before you start a full-length mod. I'm not insulting, I'm simply stating that if you want this project to lift off like you hope, you're going to need to learn a little bit more. The way most mods cease to exist is by overestimating themselves.
Before you go saying that "stfu, I have way more experience than you do," Sure. Maybe you do. In fact, I am absolutely sure you do. But experience means NOTHING if the customer/user doesn't like it. Basically what I'm saying is before you go ricocheting straight into a mod the minute you start using Hammer, just practice it and learn from some tutorials and other experienced modelers.
Once again, NOT AN INSULT. Simply a Protip... Oh, and undeadbobop, Otter & Colossal aren't fail trolling, unfortunately, they are just being honest.
I WILL though say, on another note, that Otter & Colossal need to settle down. Just calling this a fail by the looks of it and saying "no one will ever think it's great" is just plain rude. Your Honest opinion, but still rude. You're sounding like pricks. Don't do that. I understand you are trying to give constructive criticism, but (9deadbabies don't get angry at me when I say this), but 9deadbabies is clearly young and still learning.
Give him a chance and, who knows, he'll make the next great front page mod.
Nevertheless, if he keeps up the attitude of not being able to handle criticism, he's not gonna get far. I understand how you feel. I HATE it when people criticize me or my work, but you just have to learn to accept it.
