This is a total conversion of Sins of a Solar Empire. five new playble races will be introduced each with differing play styles and apearances. The focus of this mod will be small and large scale fleet stratagy and empire building.
Ok so heres an example of the T.E.F fleet consisting of Longbows Skirmishers and an Aurora. Note the size compared to vanilla sins and heed my words. As part of the mod the gravity well and planet are going to be more..... Realistic in comparison to the size of the ships. Not so realistic as to be ridiculous but they will be alot larger. So in order to save on memory usage insted of making the planets and gravity wells larger ill make the ships and structures smaller (and asteroids) this will work because sins allows u to zoom up to an object no matter how large provided it has a mesh and it allows you to zoom right up to it. So do not fear the scales and such will still make the ships large but the play ground in which they reside will be apparently much larger. Also saves on memory usage for weapons like the rail guns which travel incredibly fast over great distances (somewhere in the vicinity of 3500 km a second) so by making the mesh smaller rather then larger the effect can be processed much easier.
