This is a total conversion of Sins of a Solar Empire. five new playble races will be introduced each with differing play styles and apearances. The focus of this mod will be small and large scale fleet stratagy and empire building.
The T.E.F Achilles class Dreadnought is a purpose built command Vessel commishioned about 2605 this new class has several upgrades over its predessor. One of the major problems with Command and control vessles in the T.E.F fleet is that the heavy shielding interferes with signals causing additional lag and significant signal degragation, and whilst this may not be a problem for a small task group a full armarda needs to get its orders and intel as soon and as clearly as possible. This need for clear messages has resulted in the Achilles class ships having next to no advanced EMF shielding. The ship comes equipped with a much older metal alloy suspension shield but this counts as armour for all intents and purposes and cant midgitate damage like modern shields. However in order to compansate for this the T.E.F has fitted a prototype silicone Titanium alloy Lattice able to resist impact extremly well simply soaking up heavy hits and even effectivly resisting directed energy weapons. The Main feature of the ship is its extensive communication and sensor arrays able to effectivly comunicate with an entire armarda and detect enemy ships and their plans.
