Neural Redemption — HD texture pack for Vampire:The Masquerade—Redemption All textures are original, so the atmosphere is preserved, upscaled to 4x resolution with neural networks, then downscaled to meet 512x512 resolution limit of the engine. Version 1.0, fixed textures with alpha channel, needs full playthrough for testing.
Thank you! Redemption really needs graphics mods like this. Will start a new playthrough soon.
OMG!
I need something like this for VtmB
Thank you for this awesome mod, I had some problems with installation to start with when combining it with dgvoodoo in order to make it work on 1440p/4K so I made a short video on how to get that done as well as reshade to make it even more vibrant/vampiric. Anyway if anyone needs a bit extra help making it work here is the link Youtube.com
it says Network Error when trying download....
Hi There
Listen, when i try to use this mod, it doesn't work with 32 bit depth cause my game crashes on the main menu, already tried with the .ini but it is 16 bit depth and it makes the menu buggy and strangely colored.
I'm using all the mods in the tutorial video in the readme file.
Anyway, the textures look very good, keep up the good work.
Hi, I'm the author of the tutorial you linked from PlanetVampire, thank you. Is there any possibility you could release a 32 bit version in the future? The reason being is conflicts with other mods. If someone were to use this texture pack in combination with virtually any custom skin or map pack during multiplayer scenarios, the game will also crash, as all other mods are 32 bit. The textures otherwise look really great, and I look forward to trying them out.
I found a solution. Redemption uses 24 bit depth uncompressed to use either 32 or 16. I used a program called Photo Elf that has a 30 day free trial to convert the images from this pack to 24 bit in a batch. I don't know if there is any degradation in quality, but I must say the game is gorgeous. I've also used the experimental real time path tracing shader from MartyMcfly to add ambient occlusion, making the game look stunning.
Hi, thank you for finding out about 24 bits, but by converting TGAs to 24bit you deleted the alpha channel(tga cant have transparency at 24 bits). Or did you convert them to png?
