World War 1 had a very wide range of uniforms and my aim is reflect that in this mod (Major AND Minor factions) and to get as close to historically accurate as I can. I am also adding units to a few factions that I feel will benefit those factions rosters or just for a bit more Immersion.

Mod is on hold indefinitely. CA just release another crash, uh I mean update

Posted by on

Like many other mods including the parent mod of this mod I am disabled and on hold. Thanks CA for releasing a crashing update. Unsure how long this cluster will last. So frustrating. Hundreds of hours of research and work. I hope they fix it fast. Anyways here's some complimentary pics:

Could you send me a picture of the fusiliers mariners that you are talking about? I have found a few different versions of their uniform throughout the war and was wondering which one specifically

Yes. As you can see on the following pic, the first would be their regular navy unniform. On land, much like the rest of the infantry, they would wear the standard horizon blue greatcoat. Their trousers would be navy blue, but without any piping (like the chasseurs à pied, who had yellow piping). Their headwear would be the navy hat or an Adrian steel helmet, often with an anchor badge. The NCOs would wear a peaked cap (also visible on the pic below).

Another thing that might be confusing when looking up their uniforms is that they wore blue navy uniforms in winter when on their ships, and white ones in summer/hotter climates. However, their combat (land) uniforms would always look like on the pics I'm sharing below.

Hope this helps at all.

I mean while it sucks that it tanked mods, CA had the right idea at heart. They wanted to make it so people on 12th gen intel chips (like me) could play Napoleon again without shelling out $800 to get a new chip JUST to play Napoleon again. Hoping it gets fixed as well but I'm happy with even being able to play base Napoleon again.
