Hey, its lorul1 and im proud to announce that Assault on Theed is now public v.0.7 and closer to EA's Assault on Theed than ever ! and its a part of my "Battlefront 2 Conversion Project"
The goal of this project is use assets made FROM THE GROUND UP (and from Pandemics) to recreate Star Wars Battlefront 2 2005 in Battlefront 2 2017 !!
In order to get things looking like the first picture above, i needed to basically restart my work and delete all the props from version 0.5 - which took a while !
The biggest change from version 0.5 and 0.7 is the visuals now with Serejas assets the mod is 101% better looking than it used to be ! the AI and paths still need some work as well as programing the ion disruptors - BUT i am releasing this to give you guys a taste of how far I've come.
another big thing this version introduces is the palace interior ! BUT THE INTERIOR IS IN ALPHA and nowhere NEAR finished !!!!
STAGE 2 is skipped and i know this - it is also impossible to win as the CIS - which I'm also aware of AND the units do indeed clip through the palace ! i know this as well !!!
Phase 2 and finishing the palace interior is on the list of things to do but because I want to let you guys get a little taste of whats to come

KEEP IN MIND !!! - This is an UNFINISHED and UNSTABLE map. I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH that I will literally be releasing an unfinished version of this map I'm making. Because this map was already released on my discord server a while back most bugs have been reported.
Be sure to make some suggestions and report unknown bugs to the discord server !
GAMEPLAY:
At the start of this map both teams (Republic and Separatist) CIS MTT will be en-route to the Naboo Palace.
As the MTT moves past command post it will lock them for the Separatist pushing them forward toward the palace.
If the clones destroy the CIS MTT it is an automatic win. However, if the CIS defend their MTT for 7 minutes it will destroy the Nabbo palace and they take the victory.
GROUND TO SPACE is available in this map. Ion Dissruptor turrets will be added soon

INSTALLATION
Installation is quick and easy, so lets get to it ! A simple YouTube Search can help you install this map. All battlefront 2 maps are installed the same way !!
first you must determine weather you own star wars battlefront 2 on a disk or if you own it on steam
If you own battlefront 2 on steam follow the steam instructions below.
If you own battlefront 2 on a disk follow the disk instructions below.
*********** STEAM INSTALLATION ************
Hidden/Spoiler: 1. Lets open steam and get to our list of games! Once the steam application is opened on your PC, get to
your list of games by clicking the library tab. Once this is done right mouse click the star wars battlefront
2 title. From there select "properties".
2. In the star wars battlefront 2 properties window you will see three tabs lets go to the "local files" tab
and click on "browse local files". now a window should pop up open the GameData folder. in that Gamedata folder
there might be a folder called "addon", if this folder is there it is because you have downloaded other
battlefront 2 maps, if it is not there right-mouse click and select new then folder (we are making a new folder)
name this folder "addon" - just like that with out the quotation marks - all lower case it will look like this
addon
3. minimize the folder you are in (GameData) and in the folder you have downloaded there should be a folder called
AOT. take that WHOLE AOT folder and move it into your "addon" folder. Your done !
Note: battlefront 2 can only support 51 modded maps. if you have over 51 in your "addon" folder try storing some somewhere else
Tip : these maps are ment to be played with battlefronts LOD and view settings turned all the way up ! make sure to do this in battlefront 2's settings tab - in game or on the main menu.

do this should help.
1. You need to locate your battlefront 2 game files so that we can put my maps in there so you can play it. by default battlefront
2 normally is in ...
C drive > program files x86 > lucasarts > star wars battlfront II > GameData
2. in that GameData folder there might be a folder called "addon", if this folder is there it is because you have downloaded other
battlefront 2 maps in the past. If it is not there right-mouse click and select new then folder (we are making a new folder)

Iam in the same boat aswell of course I find the droids so funny "Halt or il say halt again" Cracks me up inside keep up the work man :)
Fun fact about those voice line, SOME are more rare than others so the more you play this map and eventually my kashyyyk recreation the more funny voice lines you'll hear ! and also marth (the creator of that one mass effect battlefront mod) helped me understand how the sounds work so big shout out to him too !
and also there are voice lines I included when you command a unit to follow you - or stop a vehicle, there are friendly fire lines. i overhaul the star fighter chatter for the republic. and the clone commanders sound completely different with there own set of voice lines because they have there helmets off. There are tons of new things to experience and I'm really glad you guys like it !
Looks pretty good so far, I am not going to download this version as it is too similar to the older version BUT when you add in that palace it gets an instant download from me as it marks another huge update to the already great map that is Assault on Theed. The voiceovers are a great addition but I can resist the temptation for now.
when i go to the water smwtimes i see a swbf2 logo i am sure this the easter egg but and can't play as iden versio.
Thats cus the space to ground isnt in this version u see a BF2 Logo in the water? *Runs over to the game and has a look*
The iden versio eater egg is taken away in this version. As for the swbf2 logo - I seriously don’t know why that’s there ??? Send me a pic of it on discord maybe
If u try to adjust the waters graphics settings maybe then that might solve it
Will you do custom models for the super battle drioids?
Probably not - but maybe another modder might give me custom SBD and Battle Droid models - the battlefront 3 ones used in battlefront 3 legacy look a little to bulky for my liking
Hi, I just want to say that I really love your mods. I know the map is still in pre-alpha, but I thought it might be helpful if I listed some bugs. There are the obvious ones like the glitchy collision detection in a lot of areas, but I also noticed that sometimes the CIS will get down to one reinforcement, but if you've already transitioned to the palace section, that one droid will just hide out in the MTT, completely preventing victory for the Republic. I've also noticed that if you switch to the minigun as the Clone Heavy, you can't switch back to the regular rifle. I also found that a lot of cooldowns are so long that it makes certain weapons kinda nonviable for combat, like shotguns and miniguns. Again, I really love your work, thanks so much for making all this great stuff.
