This mod adds multiplayer, online capability to GTA:SA.
Multi Theft Auto (MTA) is a multi-player modification for Rockstar North's Grand Theft Auto game series. It is the world's first modification to incorporate multi-player into a single-player PC game.
Originally founded back in early 2003 as an experimental piece of software, Multi Theft Auto has since grown into an advanced multiplayer platform for gamers and third-party developers.
Starting with MTA for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, you can play Grand Theft Auto on-line with your friends, in your own custom maps, your own server and much more!
But besides multiplayer functionality, Multi Theft Auto also has it's own in-game GUI including a console, server-browser, chat-box, nametags, and a lot more, that replaces the original game's interface, along with a complete map editor, built from scratch, that allows any user to create it's own custom maps using GTA's world objects.
While the current MTA:SA version only features a racing mode, the upcoming release will literally blow away all previous versions by introducing a list of awesome new features. But even today, the older versions of Multi Theft Auto are still played with rougly more than a thousand players playing on-line simultaneously.
This is the latest release of Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas R1.1.1 version. This is the only installer you need to be able to play.
