You can freely install add-on versions of new cars and texture packs (NextGenGraphics or Texmod) from the internet to this mod.

How to change resolution?
Widescreen fix should automatically set desktop resolution to game. If not, you need to edit ResX and ResY parameters in game folder \scripts\NFSMostWanted.WidescreenFix.ini
ResX = 1920
ResY = 1080
Make sure that Visual C++ Redistributable Package, DirectX 9 and DirectPlay installed.
Check that you have write permission to the game folder and My Documents folder.
If it not helping, go to game folder \scripts\NFSMostWanted.WidescreenFix.ini and set
WriteSettingsToFile = 0
also you can try to set
CustomUserFilesDirectoryInGameDir = 1

360 Stuff Injector still WIP and have bad compatibility with AMD and Intel GPUs.
Try to use one of compability fix option for non-Nvidia gpu during installation or use Texmod version
Perfomance improvement
On older systems, it is recommended to use the Texmod version. Do not use options, that can affect perfomance.
Also, you can make shadow resolution lower:
Go to the game folder \scripts\NFSMostWanted.WidescreenFix.ini and set the parameter

or

20th of December, 2022, this repack doesn't work. Don't mislead people with "runtimes" or other slip with no slaps, simply installs but refuses to run giving the user "speed.exe has stopped working" as an application crash. mentioning microsoft, regarding the "Out of memory" scandal from 1yr or so ago, I got windows 7 with down payed ESU and I got all updates regarding .NET
I was looking to play this game guess I'll not, thank you for your effort neverthless, VirusTotal detected 1 out of 75 as a Malware.Generic probably because of "CustomASI" files, even then this results in coding with no concentration. Have a good, life.
Are you sure that you installing mod over installed game? It is repack of the mod, not standalone game.
Also, please don't mislead people with crap about asi, it is common method to patch memory offsets in game executable - literally every widescreen fix for every game uses asi injection Github.com
ASI is a well-known, completely normal thing. Don't mislead people into things like this just because you're dumb and misinformed.

Hi, I extracted the files to a folder but when I open setup.exe, win10 says I need to run it as admin, even tho I am logged in as admin. Any advice? Thanks!
Can you try right click on setup.exe and press Run as Admin?
Wanted to give good old NFW another run and this mod just what i needed - no feature bloat, new cars seem kind of strong but whatever.

Regarding system requirements, do you think it is possible to run this mod on Intel HD 3000 Integrated Graphics? Except for the dedicated VRAM part, my laptop qualifies the rest of the system requirements...

Worked perfect until the point where I am at the end, two issues:
- after beating Razor and clicking enter (which normally leads to cutscene and chase) game just exits, coming back Razor still unbeaten (for save I think one needs to win race+end chase)
- the BMW M3 in shop can't be upgraded (the performance are really weird, with smth installed but can't install anything) + it is completely silent
(I don't know if it is relevant but mod was installed over Polish game version from CD)

I know about no perfomance upgrades for M3, it's feature, not a bug. I think to add some upgrades in future releases.
What could you say about no sound bug? I saw bugreports about it but can't reproduce it. M3 silent after some actions or always? What is your component combination?
I will look again today. Normal Bmw M3 ( from start and end of game) sounds normal. When I bought m3 from shop it was silent in free roam, after both workshop stop and hideout. So it was just that version. Will try custom and have enough money to try again free roam. Pc is good, i7 9700K, rtx 2080, 16gb ram, game on ssd
Yup, tried multiple times, free roam, custom race, stock, customized (better nitro), always no engine and gearbox sounds, only the shared sounds (tire screech and nitro), that buyable M3 is silent. Campaign M3 sounds perfectly fine though.

Looking good except for the shaking camera. It just jiggles ever so slightly when racing, more noteable when driving offroad. Any fixes for that?
Camera shake using vanilla parameters. You can reduce it with VLTEd in simsurface node, CAMERA_NOISE parameter.

Nope, sorry, I can't find source. It's glued with mod's logick.
But if you know how to use vlted, you can edit those parameters:
Main parameter (maked by EA by the way) is "skill lvl",you need to edit it in every race, from 0 (weak ai) to 100 (hard ai).
Also you can edit
MAXIMUM_AI_SPEED, AccelerationMultiplier и TopSpeedMultiplier in every racer, boss and police nodes.

AMD-specific bug, you should google for it, cause I don't have amd gpu.
Maybe there are differencies beetween amd drivers and installed libraries such as vc++ etc on every pc of yours. You may try another version of dxvk dll.
Stuff Pack not supposed to work on non-nvidia also and if none of the fixes not working than you should use texmod version. Are you playing on linux?

This nfs mw build doesn't start for me. Just a black screen. I found that the problem is in the NextGenGraphics\TexturePacks\Modern Rockport 360\Textures\ADS_BKING_BB_B.dds folder. Problem is not in missing dds definitely - injector just skips texture which it can't find.

хз, думал мод хандилинг меняет) кароче с новым патчем прошел, до этого лок был как буд-то на 30 фпс, странно) спасибо, мод хардкорный, после него карбон на стоковой мазде на половину прошел)
Not Working on windows 10
There is no guarantee, that game will work on modern pc, cause it developed for 2005 hardware. However, there are a lot of confirmations, that game playable even on windows 11. Recheck FAQ.
I've installed the mod and it works very well (it even includes Eddie's Skyline, which is a big plus for me!).
However, I'm trying to install two additional car modes (Rockport's Finest - the police cars) and Bonus Presets (Mia, Rog, Razor's Mustang), and I can't seem to get them working.
Can additional cars be installed into the game without replacing anything already existing?

Hi there! When i start game, screen goes black, mouse pointer showing busy and then nothing happens. I can't do anything like... bring task manager to kill, alt+tab to kill, click close button on game window from task bar... Nothing works, except force restart windows.
I tried reinstall vs redist, modify ini as you recommend, nothing works.
My Windows is 11, and processor is i5-13600K with GTX 1070.
Any Solution i missed?

You have choosed Xbox controller support during installation, it is blocking control adjusting.
I didn`t find such option during installation. Is it hidden under some menu?
I have AMD GPU so I choose AMD GPU: X360 Stuff Injector and X360 effects on graphic options during installation.
